Keynote: “The Future of Innovation in Healthcare”
We are very pleased to have Padraic Ward, Head of Roche Pharma International, giving us an opening keynote speech during our DEMO DAY. In his inspirational opening, he will talk about the importance of fostering innovation in healthcare on both – global and local levels – and trends in personalized healthcare.
Diving deeper, Padraic will share how Roche specifically enables innovation internally and externally. Finally, the importance of building strong external partnerships and ecosystems will be highlighted before the 9 startup teams get the chance to pitch their promising innovations to the audience.
Panel Discussion: “The Future of Personalized Healthcare”
As part of the Demo Day program, we aim to bring inspirational insights on “The Future of Personalized Healthcare” to our audience. We will explore the true potential and impact of personalized healthcare on patients and healthcare through specific examples and discuss the opportunities and challenges that are ahead. We will also demonstrate the importance of active partnerships of all healthcare stakeholders, in order for personalized healthcare to truly improve the lives of patients.
The topic will be discussed from diverse perspectives of providers, private and public sector, by our esteemed panelists:

Main Prizes
In total, the prize money will be €30.000! Since this year’s Healthcare Lab batch is focusing on tackling 3 specific challenges, the prize money will be divided among those challenges: €10.000 per challenge winner!
Public Vote Winner
In addition, there will be a Public Award winner where the audience has the chance to vote online during the DEMO DAY for their favorite team. The Public Award winner will receive a unique Service Package consisting of legal advisory services provided by Sparring and a HealthTech conference attendance package sponsored by CIVITTA.
